Trenbolone, often referred to as tren, is a popular anabolic steroid with extreme side effects. It’s commonly believed that tren has amplified effects when compared to other anabolic steroids on the market. This is true, to a certain degree, but a lot of the beliefs surrounding the steroid are simply just myth, overstatement, and rumor. We’ll talk a little bit about the misconceptions of tren in this article.
Since its inception in 1963, tren been considered to be one of the most effective, albeit scary, steroids to increase gains in bodybuilders. Of course, the scary stories surrounding the “miracle” steroid have made numerous people turn tail when they hear the name, and oftentimes, there’s a very good reason for doing so. However, the nature, properties, and effects of tren have always been somewhat misconstrued, and to this day, even among the steroid community, it remains so.
The truth is that other chemical compounds, such as Anadrol, are far more mysterious and eyebrow-raising than tren. After doing a little bit of independent research on tren, you should consider the drug to be similar to basically every other anabolic steroid out there, but just a little bit more effective at improving muscle mass.
Since the complex structure of this super-steroid requires an article of its own, we’re only going to focus on some of the most common effects of tren. If you wish to read about the general effects of anabolic steroids, you can do that here.
Unique Effects of Trenbolone
The first effects of tren covered in this article will be about those that are unique to this chemical compound. These side effects aren’t common in many other anabolic steroids, thus leading to the undeserved “harsh” and “mystic” labels. Please take note that not all of these effects will be experienced by every user, but they are the most common ones. Generally, the degree of the effects of anabolic steroids depends on the user – genetics, lifestyle habits, sex, and age – and some might experience some unexpected results that aren’t common or known to occur with the use of tren.
Another common name for this symptom is “increased perspiration.” It’s generally understood that tren exhibits a stronger-than-natural nutrient partitioning effect that is unparalleled by many types of steroids available on the market. This results in an increased metabolic rate, though it’s not life-threatening at all. Excessive sweating can be experienced at any hour of the day, but most users complain about sweating profusely while sleeping. Once again, this effect doesn’t put your life at risk, though it is extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable. If you take tren, be sure to consume plenty of water to balance out nighttime sweats.
In the tren-using community, they refer to this effect as “trensomnia.” Once again, we must add that this condition is non-life-threatening. In fact, this effect is common in a wide range of anabolic steroids, but it’s just a little bit more intense when using tren. The confusing thing is that the exact cause of this symptom isn’t currently known, but it’s believed that the drug acts in a way to keep your body stimulated throughout the day and long into the night. Other similar effects include the inability to become tired, constantly tossing and turning while trying to fall asleep, and frequent waking up at odd hours of the night. Some users who can’t handle the trensomnia opt to purchase sleep medication to counteract their inability to fall asleep.
Erectile Dysfunction and Decreased Sex Drive
If this isn’t enough of a deterrent, we’re not sure what is. It’s understood that almost all orally-taken or injected steroid will somehow reduce your sex drive and even lead to problems in the bed, but the symptoms are much more intense among tren users. Other effects of tren among male users include lactation from the nipples and an inability to orgasm.
Alternatives to Tren
Despite the health risks associated with the use of tren, numerous users still highly recommend the steroid to anybody who’s in dire need of muscle gains in a short period of time. However, if you’re afraid of what tren can do to you, there are other ways to increase muscle mass without exposing your body to potentially harmful chemical compounds.
Nandrolone Phenylpropionate (NPP)
NPP has never achieved the same success and popularity as tren or Decanoate, it’s beginning to see spikes in sales. Previously, access to this drug was quite limited, and it was often left in the dust of other popular anabolic steroids. However, it’s come out of its shell as is much easier to get hold of nowadays.
This anabolic steroid offers similar performance and therapeutic benefits as other drugs like decanoate and tren, albeit it to a lesser degree. In general, NPP users are able to tolerate the symptoms much better than they would with harsher chemical compounds.
Drostanolone Propionate (Masteron)
This anabolic steroid was first synthesized in the 1970s and has been marketed as Masteron every since. There’s little question about the effectiveness of Masteron, though only hardcore bodybuilders may be the only people who can find optimal results after using this steroid.
In general, Masteron is rather friendly, side-effect-wise. Males don’t need to worry about lactating or libido problems, though both men and women who are sensitive about their facial features might want to avoid this since it’s known to cause terrible and frequent acne breakouts.
Of course, the biggest con of lifting weights without drinking or injecting steroids is that it’ll take forever to look like a sculpture of a Greek God. That’s not necessarily a bad thing unless you’re planning on joining weightlifting or strongman contest, though natural bodybuilders aren’t commonly found in these sorts of tournaments.
The pros of going at it the natural way are that there’s no need to worry about developing breasts (males) or growing facial hair (women) since you’re not putting questionable chemical compounds in your bodies, and since it’ll take significantly longer to reach your ideal muscle build, this means you’re dedicating more time and energy to feeling good in the gym. That’s not a bad thing at all, in our humble opinion.
